My journey into fashion began before I could walk, as I insisted on sitting on my mother's lap and watching her sew. It started with designing paper doll dresses, which then led to sewing on a machine for the first time when I was just 8 years old. By the time I was 17, I had begun taking commissions for my designs.

In my mid-20s, I decided to further professionalize my skills by studying fashion design and pattern making. It was during this time that I also chose the name for my business, Sarra's Petals, inspired by the beauty of nature's petals that adorn the world.

Over the past 20 years, I have had the pleasure of designing a wide range of garments, including lingerie, costumes, gowns, children's wear, women's and men's clothing, Burning Man attire, Halloween costumes, dance competition outfits, and wedding dresses. If you can dream it up, I can bring it to life with my designs. Sarra's Petals - Adorning all of nature's creations in beauty.
