Our Process for Custom Creations

At Sarras Petals, we strive to make the process of creating your custom garment as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Book a Consultation

• Schedule Your Appointment: Contact us to book a consultation at your convenience.

Step 2: Concept Meeting

• Inspiration & Ideas: During the concept meeting, we’ll discuss your vision, look at examples, and gather your inspiration.
• Occasion & Vibe: We’ll talk about the occasion and the overall vibe you’re aiming for.
• Measurements & Details: We’ll take precise measurements and discuss your body type, preferred colors, and any specific requirements.

Step 3: Design & Planning

• Initial Sketch: Based on our discussion, we’ll create an initial sketch of your custom garment.
• Choosing Materials: Together, we’ll choose the fabric, trim, and accessories.
• Cost Estimate: We’ll provide a detailed cost estimate, including material costs and labor hours.
• Deposit: A 50% deposit is required based on the estimated total.

Step 4: Sourcing Materials

• Material Acquisition: We’ll source the materials, which may take at least two weeks depending on shipping times and if we need to shop together for specific items.

Step 5: Crafting Your Garment

• Production Time: Once all materials are in hand, crafting your garment will take approximately two weeks until the first fitting.

Step 6: First Fitting

• Initial Try-On: Approximately four weeks from the design consultation, we’ll conduct the first fitting to ensure everything is coming together perfectly.
• Adjustments: We’ll make any necessary tailoring adjustments and test accessories.

Step 7: Final Touches

• Completion: Depending on the complexity of the piece, the final touches will take about two weeks from the first fitting.

Step 8: Delivery

• Final Delivery: Your custom garment will be delivered to you, perfectly tailored and ready to wear.
